About Me
My name is Richard Gough, i'm 24 years old and I am currently a 2nd year student in IADT working towards my degree in Business. Outside of college I have had experiance in operating and managing my own martial arts program and now I'm currently Interning in a company called Silvertung Media where I work in a variety of different roles such as Client Relationship management, digital marketing and sales. I would describe myself as hard working and disciplined making me always seek to improve myself and my skill sets.

Communication
In all of my job roles, the one leading skill i have really improved has been my communication skills. My first oppurtunity to expand this skill was when I was hired as the concierge of the Smithfield Market apartments in Dublin 7. Here I'm in constant communication with residents, contractors, management personnel and liasing with my fellow co workers. I have also furthered this skill amongst children when i taught martial arts classes for kids aged 5-17.
My most recent experiance has been within my internship at Silvertung Media where my main role is a client relationship associate. I am consistently communicating with present clients and ensuring they're remaining satisfied with the service we provide.
Most recently I have been scheduling and attending meetings with possible prospects to discus the product and service and in return get a sale.

For my Enterprise Experiance module one of our tasks was to complete several blogs throughout the year based on our work placement. In these blogs i discuss my weekly updates, skills gained, challenges faced and what I will be doing untill the next blog.

Screencast
In my Employability skills module one of our assignments was to produce and record a screencast presentation detailing our experiences and an overview about ourselves that we could use when applying for a job position. In my screencast I talk about my experiance as a martial arts coach, intern at Silvertung Media and my relevant skills.
Poster
For my Employability skills module I was given the task of designing an A3 sized poster based on my academic year.
I decided to use this opportunity as a way of showcasing how I was able to use the skills I've learnt in my second year at Iadt and how I was able to apply them to my work placement in Silvertung Media.
